POEM 5: ACCEPTANCE

Thoughts wander back Back wandered crack, To times of despair, When I began to think My life was in shambles.

Looking back I really thought I wouldn't be able to handle... The pain, suffering or loss, But I've come to terms. Doing this time Made me realize I will make it to the other side

Having changed myself For all that I've done, For all that I’ve lost, loved, and forgotten. I Hustled back to move forward. I gotta live, Living is my last option. If I play my cards right, I mean once I’m out, Imma have to keep this circle tight. No more slip ups, Can't afford another miss up. I've learned my lesson So the pigs will never catch me hiccup.
