I first learned about the infamous MK Ultra experiments from one of my good childhood friends. The subject came up while watching episodes of the Twilight Zone in the middle of the night. The idea of government secrets and conspiracy theories fascinate me. The more I looked into MK Ultra, the more fascinated I became and the more I started to see it in the media. I started noticing the theme of governmental secrets in T.V. shows both present and past (Agents of Shield, Stranger Things, and The X Files just to name a few). I was fascinated by the Frank Olson story because, even after 60 plus years, his death remains a mystery. I wanted to bring to light the story of this mysterious death and hope to come to some sort of answer as to the true nature of his death. The more research I did, the deeper I fell into a hole of confusion. I continued to go in deeper down the rabbit hole and managed to come out with a new understanding of the CIA of the 1950s.
