Author’s Statement: Selma Spath

I have a strange appreciation for writing research papers. I love to have all the facts of a certain subject, especially odd subjects, so I decided to choose a very random subject to focus on for my Passion Project research paper. I had just started the HBO show Westworld and became inspired to research cowboys. Everyone knows of the existence of cowboys and kind-of knows what they generally do, but most people don’t know the details and specifics of the history of cowboys, so I decided this topic would be perfect. The intentions for this research paper are simple: to teach readers something new about something they normally would not learn about.
