opportunity to display how addicted people besides me are. Or, you could say that I’m doing this so that you don’t recommend that I see a therapist or go to a fantasy football rehabilitation center based off of my addiction. The first question asked was simply how addictive fantasy football was on a scale of 1-10. When I asked this question I made sure to clarify that I did not mean a literal serious addiction where being deprived of fantasy football could cause serious side effects but rather how enticing it is. Below is a graph of the 35 responses.

From glancing at the data chart, it is evident that the data is skewed in that more than 91% of the respondents felt that fantasy football was greater than a 5 in addictiveness. In fact, 80% of the 35 respondents felt that fantasy football was an 8, 9, or 10. It was clear that most participants in fantasy football are addicted, but I also wanted to explore why, seeing that many people responded with an 8, 9, or 10. My second question asked what made fantasy football so addictive and I asked them to check all factors that apply. These factors were competition (competing with friends), watching football, losing making one more invested, managing a team, and finally an “other” option. Below a bar graph is presented displaying the responses.
