Author Biographies

Quinn Albert Quinn Albert has been writing for her entire life, and discovered her love for poetry at the age of eleven. Since then she has had her work published on her mom’s Facebook page, her Instagram captions, Tumblr, and many other social media platforms. Her favorite things are dogs, flowers, and apple chips, not necessarily in that order. She spends a great deal of time behind the wheel of her car and taking selfies in traffic. When she isn’t writing, Quinn enjoys spending her time taking photographs, watching Planet Earth, and posting political rants on social media. Jordan Benefiel Jordan Benefiel is a 17-year-old avid reader, writer, philosopher and philanthropist. He is pursuing his interests through his senior project; reading and writing about a new book every week. Besides pondering the human condition, his passions include social activism, forging new relationships and long walks on the beach. His future plans include thinking about his future. Nora Berkshire Nora Berkshire is a sentimental and passionate 18 year old who uses many artistic outlets to process her creativity. From a young age she has been a rambunctious sleeper and a very vivid dreamer so she began to write down the beautiful, the terrifying and the reoccurring. Teyana Brown Teyana Brown is from Los Angeles, California. She started Wildwood School as a ninth grader in 2013. One of the things she looked forward to in coming to Wildwood was to have a chance to continue dancing. However, not being able to have that opportunity at Wildwood allowed her to find other strengths and passions in many other areas that she did not realize before. Even though she found those strengths, her passion for dancing continued to grow. Polina Chepenko Polina was born in Los Angeles, but spent the first years of her life living in Russia. She moved back to the United States at eight years old, and every year, she returns to Moscow to visit her family. Her experiences have shaped her perspective on travel and multiculturalism in the world today. In her free time, Polina enjoys drawing, studying psychology, and exploring architecture and the environment.
