people are progressing technically, but what's the point if the artistry is lost? I want to help other people become aware of finding their own voice. I want this piece to be a reminder for me that this is something I still have to put tons of time into. When writing this piece I realized I can play songs from each of these musicians and I knew all of their techniques from heart, but I still find creating something new very challenging. It just takes time. I hope that by informing people about this topic, they will try to set themselves apart from the rest.
