Our Wildwood, Summer 2017, Volume 41

Olivia Carbone ’16 just completed her first year at Smith College in Massachusetts, which she says was “one of the greatest of my life so far.” She has thrown herself into both her studies within Smith’s art department and the school community, acting as a museum volunteer on campus. In Olivia’s second semester, she gave a presentation on 21st century dress with Harold Koda, a former curator at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. She has also been chosen as the research assistant for Smith’s historical clothing collection and will spend the summer preparing for her research and applying for a semester- long internship at the Smithsonian Institution.
