ICI TRIP: Upper school students on the International Community Involvement trips visited Nepal—where they worked with local children at the Medha Secondary School and the Unatti Foundation—and Guatemala and Belize—where they helped build houses, worked with local schoolchildren, and provided medical supplies to clinics. DINNER FOR 12 STRANGERS/APPS FOR 50: Nearly 250 parents connected for an evening filled with surprises, delicious food and friends new and old. CULMINATION: Fifth grade culmination honored students’ achievements and celebrated the adventures that await them. INTO THE WOODS SPRING MUSICAL: Congratulations to the middle and upper school performing arts cast and crew for delighting the Wildwood community with their hard work and talent! SCIENCE NIGHT: Families learned what saponification means, what floats cardboard boats, witnessed gel electrophoresis, and watched students move a computer ball with their minds at the middle and upper school science night. FILM FESITVAL: Organized by seniors, the 5th Annual Film Festival presented student-created films and a Q&A with best-selling novelist and screenwriter Gregg Hurwitz at the ArcLight Culver City. RAINFOREST PROJECT: Eighth graders learn how to detect illegal logging in the Amazon on their smartphones in real time with Rainforest Connection.
