NELL BECKERMAN ’85 AND KATHY GOOD ’85 Nell and Kathy recently had a pleasant and surprising reunion at an adult student dance team at LA Dancefit. They had not seen each other

MAX HOOPER SCHNEIDER ’94 Max graduated from Harvard University in 2011 with a master’s degree in landscape architecture. He is currently an artist with an international practice. Max received a recent prize granted by BMW, which allowed for a maritime expedition that will fuel a massive new body of work.

NEDDA KAVOOSSI ’97 Nedda graduated from Loyola Marymount University in 2007 with her BA in communication studies and philosophy. After working in banking at Lehman Bros. and then Barclays, Nedda went back to school and earned her MBA in 2011. She met her husband in 2011, as well, and the two married in 2015. They are entrepreneurs with two contact center businesses spanning the U.S., Philippines, El Salvador, and India, as well as owners of a yacht chartering business in Newport Beach, California, called OC Yacht Rentals. Nedda also has an event consulting company called Kavoossi Konsulting that specializes in high-end luxury weddings and events. They live in Orange County with Nedda’s dog Mini.

HELEN HOOD SCHEER ’85 Helen is a documentary filmmaker and tenure track professor at California State University, Long Beach, where she spearheads the creative nonfiction program. Currently, she is producing Body Parts (working title), a documentary feature exploring the nude female body in mainstream film and television. This project recently won grants from California Humanities and Sundance.
