1986–1990 ANNE SIMON, Director/Head of School

Board of Trustees (now 15 members) undertakes fundraising efforts to renovate and expand campus to increase enrollment. “Imagine a Circus” fundraisers are held at Barker Hangar at Santa Monica Airport.

The curriculum and program are further developed and refined, while a strong sense of community and parent involvement adds vibrancy to the institution.

Fundraising provides a new computer in every classroom.

WWPO is founded, a natural outgrowth of high level of parent involvement. First Jog-a-Thon

Board of Trustees forms Diversity Committee (becomes the Committee on Equity and Justice in 2004).
