A Systems Thinking partnership launches with LAUSD’s Palms Elementary School to deepen this transformative teaching practice, illuminating for students the interdependence of multiple systems in the world around us. Singapore American School engages the Outreach Center in developing its first high school Advisory program.

Zurich International School becomes an Outreach Center client to launch an Advisory program. A grant from The Carl & Roberta Deutsch Foundation funds the Systems Thinking Schools partnership program with LAUSD.

International School Bangkok becomes the fifth international client for the Outreach Center. A partnership with the USC Rossier School of Education launches to extend the reach of Systems Thinking within LAUSD.

Vienna International School works with the Outreach Center in its development of a K-12 Culture of Connection and Care as part of its schoolwide Social-Emotional learning initiative. The United Nations International School of Hanoi, Vietnam, and Surabaya Intercultural School in Indonesia both seek the Outreach Center’s expertise in developing their middle and high school Advisory programs. The Outreach Center adds LAUSD’s Mid-City’s Prescott School to its Systems Thinking partnership with Palms Elementary, another Los Angeles Title I elementary school.
