exemplifying high academic standards. On campus, she is involved in the Student Learning Center, the Athletic Study Center (ASC), and the College of Letters and Science. Asha is committed to tutoring for the ASC and mentoring younger students, sharing her experiences and growth with others.

COREY FETZER ‘04 Corey is thrilled to join Wildwood’s faculty team as an 11th grade literature teacher. She is married to alumnus Adrian Ferenc ‘04 . They have a 2-year-old daughter named Lucie and a dog, Sunny. In October Corey and Adrian celebrated the wedding of alumnus Nick Simmons ’04 along with other 2004 alumni. MARSTON HEFNER ‘08 Marston is the editor and founder of Young Magazine, a professional backgammon player, and has published work in the New York Tyrant. He recently released his book High School Romance, bringing a unique voice and playful style to meditations on self-acceptance, the folly of youth, and how love can lead to actualization and destruction. Deb Christenson, upper school humanities teacher, attended his book signing at Book Soup in Los Angeles in September 2022.

CASTELLE ESKIN ’18 Castelle lives in Washington, DC, where she attends law school at American University’s Washington College of Law. She also works in LGBT advocacy at national nonprofit CenterLink as the policy and advocacy letters to the CDC regarding funding and resources for the Monkeypox crisis, meeting with senators about the Equality Act, and making infomercials on resources available to the community. She graduated magna cum laude from Muhlenberg College in June 2022, with a B.A. in Public Health and Theatre. organizer. Her favorite projects include drafting

SIMON KATZ ‘21 During Simon’s first year at the University of Chicago, he joined the university’s competitive synthetic biology team. During the summer, he engineered bacteria and designed bio-circuits to detect perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), a bio-accumulative carcinogen. The end product of this research could decrease PFOA detection costs by several orders of magnitude. In October 2022, Simon traveled to a summit in Paris to present this research. In the coming quarter, he will start an internship with a firm that does research on biotechnology start-ups for venture capitalists and other early-stage investors.

NICHOLE SHANFELD ‘13 Nichole is a real estate agent at Sothebys in Beverly Hills. She lives with her boyfriend of five years and her chocolate Lab, Belli. Nichole was honored with Sotheby’s Rising Star award, and was named an “influence of Real Estate” by the LA Business Journal. She sold over $80 million in 2022.
