ELLA EMHOFF ‘17 Ella was featured in the New Yorker May 2025 issue. She was one of the New Yorkers featured in the portfolio of the “Power Houses: Inside the Living Rooms of Notable New Yorkers.”

CASTELLE ESKIN ‘18 Castelle graduated this past spring from American University’s Washington College of Law and is preparing to sit for the New Jersey Bar later this year.

JACKSON SPINER ‘20 Jackson recently graduated from Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts. A writer for screen, stage, and prose, Jackson’s love for storytelling has only grown since his time at Wildwood. While at Chapman, Jackson brought his passion for the arts to the Santa Ana community, co-founding and hosting the Orange Film Festival, a celebration of local narrative and documentary filmmaking. He also collaborated with his fellow students (including several Wildwood alumni) to write and produce a series of short films that showcase a wide array of genre and style—from a speculative science fiction piece to a psychologically thrilling dark comedy. He is excited to be taking his first steps into the independent film world post grad, continuing to harness a passion that began many years ago in Laura Forsythe’s Motion Picture class at Wildwood.

SIMON ALEXANDER ‘20 Simon is the Senior Event Coordinator for Hex & Company, New York City’s largest board game café. He started there as he was finishing his time at Sarah Lawrence College, balancing homework with late-night medieval fantasy games in the city. “It’s been an honor to work on the team, first just as a counselor, then as Scheduling Coordinator, and now as the Senior Event Coordinator,” Simon says. “If any Wildwood Wolves find themselves in the Big Apple, they’re more than welcome to stop by for a coffee and a game of Clue!”

DYLAN VECCHIONE ‘17 Dylan is a graduate student in the University of Washington School of Oceanography and the University of Washington Astrobiology Program, specializing in microbiology

and molecular biology. Last spring, Dylan spoke to Wildwood elementary students about the

importance of conservation, a passion nurtured during his own time as a Wildwood student and WISRD member, and the small steps we can all take to make a major impact.
