ALUMNI NOTES Tell us what you’re up to

JEREMY STEINBERGER ’14 Jeremy graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in journalism. After starting a pop-culture and arts publication for UT students, he became the music intern at The Austin Chronicle, Austin’s alternative weekly newspaper. Jeremy wrote a cover story on the San Marcos, Texas, music scene just three weeks into his internship and now contributes to The Chronicle each week on a freelance basis. He plans on continuing to pursue multimedia forms of music journalism.

ZANDER HAWLEY ’15 Zander recently returned to Los Angeles after two years in Nashville, Tennessee. He spent the first half of 2017 attending The Blackbird Academy before joining USC’s Popular Music program. In between schooling, he released two extended play records with Wildwood alum Amandla Stenberg ’16 under the alias Honeywater, as well as an album of his own. His songs have been featured on television in Fox’s The Following and ABC’s The Rookie. Zander spent the beginning of 2018 opening for The Naked and Famous on their national tour.

ZACH FABRICK ’16 Zach is in his third year at the University of California, Santa Cruz, studying intensive psychology with a concentration in clinical psych. He plans on getting his PsyD after college and becoming a clinical psychologist. Wildwood has shaped Zach’s experience by instilling in him the Habits of Mind and Heart and by giving him the skills to confidently communicate in Spanish.

KAYLA STREIBER ’17 Kayla is in her second year at Barnard College in New York. She found her place within the theater community and has been in two student- written-devised theater pieces. Last year, Kayla was a part of the 124th Annual comedy satirizing Barnard and Columbia student life. Next semester, Kayla is considering taking some time off from theater to do an internship. Varsity Show, an annual student-written musical

SOPHIE LEVY ’17 Sophie is in her second year at Barnard College in New York, majoring in film and minoring in art history. She works as an intern in the writer’s room at Saturday Night Live, her dream for as long as she can remember. Sophie thinks New York is amazing but loves coming back to visit home and Wildwood every chance she gets.

MOREAU HALLIBURTON ’18

Moreau is in her first year at Lawrence University in Wisconsin. Her experience so far has been enriching, fun, and challenging. She is on the women’s basketball team and is a part of an on-campus trio girl band. Moreau plays the drums and sings.

JOHN BROWN ’16 John is in his third year at Rice University in Texas. He is majoring in biochemistry and kinesiology and works for the women’s basketball team.
