After selecting a star make sure that the green box is centered over the star. If it is not, click move where the green box is by right clicking and selecting “enable jogging via arrow keys”. This makes the arrow keys on the computer move where the box is. Move the box so that the crosshair is directly over the star. Not circled is the thumbnail below the image screen. These boxes show a detailed view of the inside of the selected area. They can be used for more precise movements. Once it is in the middle disable the arrow keys by selecting the “Disable jogging” option. Then turn the target star box red. This will help differentiate it and tell the software that it is the target. Rename the red box to “targetstar”. The rename function is located above the jogging options. Then choose 2 stars that are similar in brightness to the target star and follow the above instructions to highlight them. The 2 differences are that they should be named reference and should be colored yellow. Refer to Figure 12. and Figure 13. for how reference stars should look compared to the target star.
