We designed the LAG in Onshape and printed it in PLA on the FlashForge Creator Pro 2 3D printer. When printing the first version of the LAG, the automatic supports on the CAD slicer did not consider its own weight and therefore put too many support beams coming off on a single beam. Since the program does not view the print plate as viable placement for supports, this singular beam was also at a sharp angle attached to the design. Too much mass on this one beam led to a failed print, which is shown in Figure 26.
