“Young people from every background must see in their teachers and the content with which they engage a reflection of themselves and of others, both as affirmation of who they are and as exposure to—and respect for— those from whom they are different.”

The Wildwood Institute for Social Leadership (WISL), the second of three planned Institutes, is launched with the support of an Edward E. Ford Foundation Leadership Grant. Wildwood is one of only four recipients of the grant that year and the only 2018 recipient in the Western U.S. Wildwood becomes accredited by the Council of International Schools for its global citizenship curriculum.

The Foundation for the Future, the largest campaign in Wildwood history, launches at State of School. Pictured are Corinna Cotsen and Lee Rosenbaum, trustee and former Board chair, attending campaign leadership event to launch the Foundation for the Future. Wildwood community pivots to off-site learning during the COVID-19 pandemic.
