Mary Lloyd Estrin (1944-2020) Board of Trustees 1987-1992, Board Chair 1989-1992

MADDY GOLD ’15 Maddy graduated from Whitman College in May 2019 and stayed in Walla Walla, Washington, for the summer to do socially engaged and relevant theater through the Davis Projects for Peace grant about immigration. One of her past collaborations involved recording stories of immigrants from within her community. Maddy also lived in Spain teaching English with the ministry of education.

ABBY LEE ’15 Abby graduated from Oberlin College in May 2019, with a bachelor’s in cinema and sociology. After graduation, she moved to Brooklyn, New York, to live with her sister, alumna Tessa Lee ’12. Since moving, Abby went on tour with her band, Blankat, and has been working in New York on film and TV sets as a production assistant.

SARA FELDERMAN ’18 Sara is a junior at Rhode Island School of Design in Providence. She is a painting major, focusing on animal rights, the environment, and giving a voice to those who don’t have one. After a chance introduction, Sara had the opportunity to intern at Ai Weiwei’s studio in Berlin one summer. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. This internship experience changed the way Sara thought about her art-making process, her work itself, and its impact. She was asked back to intern in Berlin.

DANI LESHGOLD ’17 Dani is a senior at New York University, studying English with a concentration in creative writing and a minor in cinema. During Dani’s college experience, she spent a semester abroad in Sydney and loved it. Dani also interned in the office of Hillary Clinton, where she worked three days a week compiling press clips, monitoring social media, conducting research, drafting briefing memos, and assisting with office management.

NOAH GOLDMAN ’15 After graduating from

Carleton College in June 2019, Noah spent 14 weeks student-teaching at Highland Park Senior High School in St. Paul, Minnesota, through the Carleton/St. Olaf teacher education program. Noah is expected to receive a Minnesota license to teach mathematics for grades 5-12.
