She enjoys talking about multiculturalism, feminism, existentialism, and other such isms. She also enjoys grandmotherly activities such as knitting, embroidery, and playing with her two cats. You can often find her buried in coloring books or wearing brightly colored cardigans. Khamil Riley Khamil Riley is an 18-year-old Los Angeles native. Having grown up in a family of readers, Khamil has developed a particular fondness for the literary world. She can be found asking tough questions, enjoying a hot cup of peppermint tea, and cracking jokes only she seems to laugh at. Her future goals include attending Wesleyan University in the fall of 2017 and going on adventures: both literary and otherwise. Jacob Rockwell Jacob Rockwell loves the outdoors and loves to read. Some of the most influential writers for him are Ernest Hemingway and Jon Krakauer. Their descriptions of grand adventures capture his heart and imagination. He often dreams of going on an adventure that rivals hitchhiking to Alaska or fighting a war in the hills of the Basque. Enrique Romero I guess the simplest way to describe Enrique is as an amateur artist that has a passion to create work that someday reaches the hearts and minds of many people around the world. Whoa, hold up. He is also a person who values the things like connections and relationships formed with people along with shared experiences. Overall he seems like a really cool dude, someone to chill with. Julian Ruble Julian Ruble is an upper-middle class teenager living in Los Angeles. His parents are architects who have worked, and still work very closely with, the United States State Department, which gave him exposure to countries in Europe and around the world from a very young age.
